Day 1 : Lisbon Airport
Reception at Lisbon airport by your driver. Private transport to your accommodation. Night at a charming 3 stars Hotel, very well located in the city center of Lisbon.
Day 2 : Lisbon
Half day of visits with your Tour Leader . Your journey will start with a half-day walking tour , discoverring the historic center of Lisbon .
Start with the Baixa and its beautiful Praça do Comércio lined with arcades and seat of different ministries or the Rossio and the Praça Don Pedro IV where stands the National Theater which is also located in the vicinity of the Elevador de Santa Justa classified as a National Monument. The Alfama , the oldest and most picturesque district of the capital, is a tangle of narrow, cobbled streets where you will find the Sé Patriarcal , a Romanesque-Gothic cathedral dating from the 12th century, and the viewpoint of Santa Luzia . Dinner and evening with Fado performance in one of the most famous houses in Lisbon located in the heart of the Alfama district. (water, soda, wine or beer included). Night at a charming 3 stars Hotel, very well located in the city center of Lisbon.
Day 3 : Lisbon
Transport The Palacio Nacional da Pena , located on a rocky peak overlooking the Sintra forest at an altitude of more than 500 metres, is one of the most outstanding examples of the Romanticism era in Portugal. Built under the orders of D.Ferdinant II, it brings together in its construction the most eclectic architectural styles, Moorish, Manueline, Baroque, the extravagant colours that take over the doors and façades make it without a doubt one of the most emblematic and extravagant buildings of the country’s cultural heritage.

Day 4 : Madrid
Welcome at the train station by your driver and transfer to your hotel. About 3h devoted to the historic center with your private English-speaking guide : Plaza del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Gran Vía, Plaza de la Villa, Royal Palace and Cathedral of Almudena (entrance fees not included). Royal Palace entrance included. Flamenco show in one of the cult places of the capital ( closed on Sunday ). The variety of its program is one of its important characteristics. Every week a different artist, a new show, which contribute to guarantee the freshness in the interpretation and to increase the motivation of the musicians, the cantaores and the bailaors.
About 1h30 Timetable: 8pm (on Friday and Saturday only) or 10.30pm Night at the Siete Islas hotel in standard room.
Day 5 : Madrid
Guided tour devoted to one of the two most famous Spanish museum with your English speaking guide (3h): El Prado museum or Reina Sofia museum.
Prado museum is the most visited in Spain and one of the largest art gallery in the world. You can admirate the works of great artists such as El Greco , Murillo , Velazquez or Goya . Contemplating these masterpieces, you will feel a deep mix of pleasure.
Reina Sofia Museum ( closed on Tuesday ) presents an important Spanish and international art collection covering a period from the end of the nineteenth century up to now . Today the museum is organized into three sections : 1900 – 1945 the upsurge of nineteenth century : utopia and conflicts , 1945-1968 War is over ? Art in a divided world and 1962 – 1982 From rebellion to postmodernity .
Reina Sofia is also a research, trial and reflection center offering a huge program of temporary exhibitions and activites opened to public. Night at the Siete Islas hotel in standard room.
Day 6 : Madrid
The bike tour takes around 3h and you will get to know the most interesting places of Madrid . We will stop so that you can take pictures and we will have a break in the middle of the tour to have a drink and tapas.
Private transfer from your hotel to the airport to take your return or connecting flight.
